Kiyosu Castle

Kiyosu Castle is a Japanese castle located in the city of Kiyosu in eastern Aichi Prefecture.
It was built in 1394 and 1407 and reconstructed in 1989.
Oda Nobunaga, a famous warlord from Kiyosu Castle, launched the Battle of Okehazama, which is known as the starting point for unification of Japan.
This battle, one of the most important in samurai history, was fought in the outskirts of the city of Nagoya on June 12, 1560, when 2,500 samurai trounced an army of 25,000 – a ratio of ten to one!
