We went to see one of the best natural beauty exhibitions displayed by wisteria, these beautiful purple flowers the shimmer in the wind only bloom between late April and the beginning of May so keep an eye out for these festivals at that time of year. Fuji flower viewing, in the south of the Okazaki Castle, have flower stems as long as up to 90cm! I really enjoyed the vivid colour of the flower, they contrast with the environment and they are perfect to get a picture and share with my friends.

While watching the flowers, we had the chance to meet some people from the city, the locals are super communicative and very gentle; they guided us to the best place around for soba, even though they did not speak English we had an interesting conversation in Japanese-English while enjoying the view. They tried their best to explain to use where is the place everyone must go in Okazaki for soba.

If you are a person that likes photography, this place near to the basement of Okazaki castle will be the paradise for you. Most of our friends became crazy when they looked to the beauty of the wisteria, they started running for places to get a good angle and take the best shot.
