Owari is a historical area based near the Kiso River and Nobi Plain.
From its history and surroundings, you can feel a touch of Japan in its present day.
The complex heads the Tenno shrine network of which there are 3,000 in Japan. On the fourth Saturday and Sunday of July every year, the Owari-Tsushima Tenno Festival is held. The festival uses makiwara-bune (boats with lanterns) in the evening and danjiri-bune (boat-type floats with puppets) in the morning.

At Sobuemachi in Inazawa, there are many 100 year and older ginkgo trees. In late autumn, the trees and leaves turn into a beautiful gold-like color. From the end of November to early December every year, a foliage festival celebrating the changing of leaves is held.
Near Yamazaki station
Castle renowned for being the place where Nobunaga Oda invented his Tenka Fubu slogan. In 1989, Kiyosu was reconstructed to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the foundation of the modern town of Kiyosu. The castle stands as a landmark of "Kiyosu" along with the red Ote bridge connecting the Gojo river.

A big tourist spot in Seto that includes local goods, restaurants, event halls and other attractions. The Setogura museum is the main attraction and it provides cityscapes of the Seto area from the Showa era along with information of Seto-yaki. The museum also has on display the actual train that transports Seto-yaki to regions around Japan.

A complex that was recognized as a grand shrine during the Heian era. It became popular in the Owari region and "Ichinomiya" was named after it. At the end of July every year, the "Ichinomiya Tanabata Festival" is held covering the area from the Meitetsu Ichinomiya station to the Masumida Shrine.

Shippo Art Village
A comprehensive facility themed after Owari Shippo. Provides information of shippoyaki and its 180 year history/tradition. Visitors can see the actual production process and other video footages. "Watch", "touch", "learn" and "experience" shippo!
